Birthdays!!

Greg and I had a great birthday! It's so much fun having our birthdays so close together because we can celebrate for a whole week!
The festivities began on the 25th of September with Greg's birthday. Of course he had school for most the day, but when he came home the party began. We had a nice steak dinner with mash potatoes, and a little bit of bubbly. ;) He opened his gifts and blew out the candles on his chocolate bunt cake ("It's a bunt!"- My Big Fat Greek Wedding). I think that his favorite gift is the Simpons DVD and ASU apparel.
Then on October 1st we celebrated my birthday. Greg surprised me in the morning with a pilates/yoga mat and a set of weights for my workout. Then, he made me a good ol' southern breakfast of grits and eggs! Yum! Later that afternoon we went to the movie Hairspray! Love it! After that we went out to eat at the Macaroni Grill on a gift card that Kristy gave us. We had so much fun!

Labor Day Visit

DAD FISHER WRITES:Here is a picture of me Fly fishing earlier this past summer in Lake Arrowhead Mtns , yes, in southern calif. Can you believe there is this type stream so close to where we live!----I am just getting use to this Bolg thing. Leah has the bug to do it and she is encouraging all to take a little time .Well you found your way to San Diego for Labor Day. It really was a blessing to have the Fettermans with us. I do hope Greg was able to get a little studying done. Mom and I were thrilled to have kids in the house again. We had our BarbQ and just enjoyed being together....thats what families are for. The house is very quiet with April gone back to School and Ethan and Diana and kids moved into keep the Hatch home. Mom is visiting Leah this week in Seattle. I would consider moving there. We are proud of all of our children and their spouses. We look foward to visiting you in Arizona once you feel settled...and the weather drops below 80 Ho Ho! You are in our constant prayers. Here's an update!

Just so everyone knows, today is Greg's 26th Birthday! Yeah! I'll try to get some pictures up later from the celebration.
I spoke with Leah earlier today and she inspired me to get back on track with the whole blog thing. So here we are!
Greg is swamped in Law School leaving at eight o'clock in the morning and then coming home eight-thirty at night. Poor guy, he really enjoys it though. Greg has dreamed of being a lawyer since he was in elementary school and his teacher told him he would make a great lawyer, true story. So I'm really glad that he is following his dream.
For me it's all about the job hunt. I had one interview yesterday, an interview tomorrow and then another one on Saturday. HOPEFULLY I will find something that will support the fam. All of the interviews are with sub-devisions of the DES (Devision of Economic Security). I am actually excited because it seems like my degree actually is going to come in handy!
Other than that, all is well here in Arizona. It has been great weather, we're talkin' in the lower 90's (really nice for here, trust me). Can't wait till you all decide to come visit!

Hey all!!! So we finally figured this whole blog thing out. Yeeees. Here's Greg and I just after we were married. He was in the Multicultural Dance Parade. Of course now he is commissioned so he won't be doing any more parades, but it was fun for the time! Love you all and we'll get some more up soon!
